Hand crafted, nuts are dry roasted in a wrought iron kettle prior to pressing. Sure, you can buy walnut oils at the grocery store. But most of them are pressed raw so they are bitter tasting and the roasted walnut oils we’ve seen commercially available are sold in tins. Ours holds its flavor for nine months in the refrigerator.
